Going to London, where to get a batterycharger

Sitting at the Airport atm and just realized that I have forgotten my battery charger. Naturaly my battery is dead.
Does anyone know where I could get one in London?

<Edit - I just realized he forgot his charger, not just the cord>

For those folks that forget a charger cord in the UK.

The K5 charger accepts 120/240v and you can use a plug adapter or get a new cord.

Plug Adapters are everywhere.

In the UK, new cords can be found at Curry's or PC world,

I'm not sure where you are staying in London, but there are 9 locations in London.

You don't need a new charger, just a different cord or plug adapter.
Um, if he has forgotten his charger at home, then he certainly does need a new charger!

Spectrum is conveniently located at 127-129 Tottenham Court Road (call 0207 388 3535). I have never dealt with them.

I am a happy customer of SRS Microsystems, but they are out in Watford (call 01923 226602) so that may not be convenient.

A good shop might let you charge your battery there while you browse, if all you need is a single charge.

Pentax is also carried by a number of chains: PC World, Currys, Jessops -- one of which might even be at the airport. Also London Camera Exchange and Selfridges.

If you can't find one at the airport, Spectrum might be a good bet as there are plenty of other electronics shops on Tottenham Court road to try if they don't have one.
It's between Goodge Street and Warren Street tube stations - Tottenham Court Road station is a bit of a walk.

You should be able to find one easily in London as other have said. I don't think the K-5 takes the AA battery pack otherwise you could have grabbed one of those and run on disposables.

Hmmm, here's a thought, if you can't locate a charger how about looking for a used grip that will take AA batteries? There are dozens of camera outlets in London so you should be able to find something and you can bet you're not the first visitor to forget their charger.

One reason why I wish everything I own ran off standard batteries. This plethora of different batteries and chargers is madness.
