Hmmm. Here's a current favorite as I work thru my pics from Yellowstone. K100D and the DA 12-24.

Toads get excited when photographed with a k100d (from this spring):

51,000 clicks and still going. I've been contemplating picking up a spare off of flea bay, but I'm not sure I'd be as in love with someone else's

I think I'm going to have to replace my dead K100D right away, before this thread increases demand and starts pushing prices up. I'm loving the film-like, in fact almost Kodachrome-like, quality in the photos that people are posting. The K100D might just be the most un-digital-looking DSLR out there, and that's the highest praise I can give. Looking forward to seeing more shots.

Amazing photo's!! I see nothing wrong with the abilities of this model. We the K100d and it's brother the K110d. The 110 went to my daughter which she loves.
This shot I took Aug with a Sears 60-300 zoom and a 2x teleconverter.

I love my thwackomatic! I'll join with one of the first memorable images I captured after I first got mine in 2008. (Taken with Tammy 70-300LD)

That's a stunning photo. And from now on any Pentax that I own will be officially called a thwackomatic! In fact, I might just get it painted on the pentaprism over the Pentax logo. Let's see how the Canikon drones react to that one.

I think shots from the K100D also convert to B&W quite nicely. . .

Not the best example but I wanted to contribute something recent. This was with the humble Industar 50-2 at ISO1600. Asked the yogurt shop girl to make a face.

The thwackomatic has become my go to camera when I want to use my M42 lenses because I don't like hassling with adapters on my k-5.
