Triptyc Still

I've enjoyed reviewing this thread, which shows the K100D (and the other 6MP sensor based bodies) can still do fine work!

Here is a series of three photographs I took for use as wall decorations in our office at work (Chemistry department). For display, I had each of these three photographs printed on 18" x 24" frameless canvas and hung on the wall as you see here. Taken with my Pentax K100DS, Super-Takumar 35mm f2, Pentax AF280T flash bounced off a white board, ISO400, processed in Sagelight Image Editor + Topaz B&W Effects 2 (from RAW files).

This was a fun project.

Oh, nicely done! That's some fine glasswork photography, lighting is "just right" to give depth, details, and that "Ooooh, Shiny" look .

Great job on the lighting! I've had a hard time getting reflections looking how I want with curved reflected surfaces and flash.

Nice looking set of shots, Todd.

This is such a wonderful thread. Ionky upgraded from my K100d last year, it had suffered from dust inside the body for a few years and then finally gave in to some kind of mould growing on the sensor - no one i know has ever seen anything like it! - so I upgraded to a K7 ... I hated the colour rendition initially, it took me a while to get used to it.

I still look at my favourite k100d shots and love the colours, so now I am on the look out for a copy in nice condition to continue producing such unique results
