A question about K5IIs

I bought a K5IIs yesterday. Here is the question:

Why is there no white letters beside AE-L buttom? I think there should be "AE-L" right side the AE-L buttom. Is there something wrong with my K5IIs?

The photo of my K5IIs is in the attachment.

My IIs has the "AE-L" in white beside the button as in the K-5 classic. I would consider this a cosmetic error but then you are the owner.

Thank you for your answering. But if you were me, how would you do then?

If it was mine I'd go back to the vendor and ask for either an exchange or a rebate/discount of some sort. I would be happy to keep it and have some sort of compensation - maybe a future discount or a memory card or something along those lines.

That's weird. Did you buy the camera from an authorized Pentax dealer? Seems like a production error that should not have made it into the distribution chain. Or a pre-production prototype/component.

Mine has a label. Looks like a production mistake to me. You may have a rare gem on your hands.

I was making a joke, that it was a model that is easier to hide.

There might be nothing wrong with the camera itself, but the label should at least be there. Check twice if every function works as it should, though personally I'd rather have the store I bought it from replace the unit. As customers, we deserve what we bought with every cent of our money, even if the "mistake" was just a mere missing label.

I just checked: The label appears on my K-5ii. I'd take it back. If the retailer considers this "trivial," I'd get a refund and find another retailer.
