Rioch/Pentax at PhotoPlus 2013 ?

I enjoyed attending PhotoPlus 2012 and visiting the Pentax booth where I was able to talk with the staff and try out a number of lenses. That experience helped me to make the decision to purchase a K5IIs. I can't seem to find any information stating that Pentax will be back this year. Would anyone happen to know if there will be any Pentax presence this year?

Not listed in the exhibitor list, at least not that I could find. And the only major camera company not listed. Odd.

The show is in New York, and I bet it's the one that Pentax / Ricoh USA must pay for if they intend to be there — not Ricoh Japan.
It is odd that they avoid such good shows ... yet considering their usual state of affairs, I wonder what is normal and what is weird behaviour for them anyway

I'd expect them to be there, considering that the K-3 will quite likely be announced around the same time

So - what - some pro from PEI might come so unless Ricoh Imaging Canada foots part of the bill RIAC won't go at all? There's something else going on here- they have some other plan for the money.

Could be lots of reasons, including somebody at HQ dropping the ball and not reserving booth space. I'm not worried, I am quite confident that they know what they are doing, but are working to their timetable instead of ours. And if they did not think it worth their time/money to be at this show then I am sure they had good reason. Seems unlikely they have a 'major' announcement though if they are skipping trade shows. Or maybe the NA market is just not a priority for them.
