A long black coat, like in Matrix, under which you can hide a lot of gears, could be better. Or worse.

For weddings I have come to prefer the cotton carrier. Similar system to the capture I think, but it definitely grabs attention. I dont mind it myself.

As for dropping cameras in weddings, I'm sure all wedding shooters have done so at some point... I dropped my K10D + AF 540 and it the flash took the brunt of the fall. Head works fine but the foot was toast, so I sent it to pentax for repair :x This is before I use the cotton carrier of course.
