As one who has a crappy neck (my neurosurgeon says), thanks for the tip on the Op/Tech Strap.

I feel the same way about the bright red PENTAX stitching, which is why I've covered over the stitching with black electrical tape

the old pentax film camera straps are the best imho of the genuine pentax, even have pockets that will fit a sd card or the pc socket cover on the K20D.
I also have a Crumpler that I got at PMA, very confee for heavy lenses, grips nicely too.

I replaced the K10D kit strap with the Optech Super Classic strap, man is it ever comfortable! It made the K10D with Sigma ef530 and 50-135mm much more comfortable to carry around. The non slip backing is also great when I have the camera slung over a shoulder

Don't follow the crowd, get a vintage 1976 wide tapestry strap and stand out in the crowd.
Oh man, I've wanted to get one of those ever since Highschool photo class!

I love having PENTAX in huge writing on my strap - that's the only reason I haven't replaced it with something more comfortable - I'm proud to be using Pentax. It would be nicer if they made it slightly wider though - it's not too comfortable. Thankfully i usually have my camera in my right hand not round my neck!

Here's an argument for a problem similar to this regarding Army's sniper tabs:
A K10D with grip and 50-135mm lens would be more attention grabbing than the strap.

Even the DA* 16-50 gets a lot of attention on a K10D with grip. Many have commented on the size of that front element.
