K20D back focusing in artificial light?

This may be old news but a quick search came empty.
My favorite lens is my F50 f.17 I noticed a while ago some back focusing at wide open apertures. I was not surprised at all and thought I'll get around to learn to adjust it later. Then I noticed it was spot on. Paying more attention to it, it seems that in natural daylight it is spot on and in artificial light it back focuses.
Additional and more formal testing will be required to get a proper conclusion.

I this a known issue and I just dicovered the wheel?
