Excellent review. Thanks for the heads up.

I noticed that site did this review a week or so ago but it wasn't in English. All I could do was look at the pictures. It looks like a pretty good photography site. It's Slovic I think; wish there was an English part of it. I did notice that periodically they have an English translation of some reviews done by Joze Sveticic.

Analysis of digital cameras in Slovac report

An excellent website! Highly recommend it! All details are covered in language that is understandable by the advanced amateur.

From reading these reports, I gather that the Pentax is considered a camera for the advanced amateur rather than for the professional; in my time I have used the Leica, Canon, Contax, Nikon, Sony and Pentax. Lens for these cameras are all very good, certainly good enough for both the professional and the amateur. I am what is referred to as an advanced amateur; Many of my photographs are equal in quality to those of professionals in my opinion. I still have one older Nikon, but most of my cameras are Pentax. The Pentaxs have been the most dependable of them all, over time. All of the afore mentioned camera manufacturers have and do make lens of a quality less than those used by professionals. All of their best lens are very, very good.

I would really like to see a top quality camera, and lens, manufactured in our country. Don't understand why that couldn't work out with all of the retired folks coming on line soon. If anyone out there finds such a suggestion interesting, please get in touch with me and let's discuss this further.

Pentax makes good products; what a pleasure it would be to work on the assembly line for one of their top models here in this country. If not Pentax, then perhaps Kodak?

Nice review. Thanks for pointing it out. One question. On the K100D banner ad it says "razred zase". What does that mean in english? It sounds so cool. Razred zase. Yeah I like it.
thanks

Wow, that is a very detailed report. It'd be great to read it along with the camera. It would be a great intro to the camera. Now I wish I had a K10D!
