Very nice image! And btw, this is page 100 of this thread, but the K10D really deserves it!

It's wonderful to see this thread still going so strong after 100 pages, with hundreds of truly beautiful photographs posted along the way. Here's to the next 100 pages of inspiring photography from the K10D Club.

The Sigma 17-70 performing well again. So, do you still have it? I see it is no longer listed in the "For Sale" items.

Thanks Ray. Sad to say, the fountain shot was one of my last with the 17-70 The lens has a new owner near NYC now - she's hoping to use it for wedding photos, and I'm sure she'll be happy with it - it's a fine and versatile lens.

Ah well, it's not as though you don't have a few other lenses to choose from.

It was a beautiful sunny spring day here so I took the K10D out for some exercise with my Sigma 17-70...and I found a red car. And K10Ds love red.

Great stuff, Ray. I think you've found the perfect car for bombing around our twisty Dartmoor roads: lots of power for all the steep hill climbs, great handling for the devious corners, and strong brakes so you can stop in time when a sheep or pony wanders out into the road.

Here's a photo of the more traditional mode of conveyance around here:

A spectacular image. How did they get all the building materials up there to build that?

With handheld winches or with hands.Τhe construction of the monastery was a integral part of the ascetic life. A special kind of prayer.
Later (in the decade of 1920) they made carved stairs and tunnels. Thus it was possible the easy access to these unique world heritage monuments according to Unesco.
