I have had my K10D for about five years now. Still learning how to use all the features on it. Lately I have been collecting some SMC K and M glass. Shooting mostly in manual mode with them.

Here's a shot from last summer, made with a Takumar 55 1.8 lens, just an amazing piece of glass overall. Unfortunately, all the RAW files, and almost all of the PP images from that summer are gone....a ransomware virus took all of them away from me. Anyway...This is a shot which I'm very proud of, as it shows my little brother (8 years old at the time) standing on the beach, gazing into the horizon as the sun is setting in the background. The shot was not staged, and that's why it's so special to me.

Thanks I really wish I had the DNG....it would look really nice as a B&W or as a silhouette by increasing shadows

Since you enjoyed that one, here's another photo from that day at the beach, same lens, same camera.

I love a ton of things about this pic, but DANG he's dead-centered! Focus, then compose.

There were many other pictures, but like I mentioned, a virus wiped all my DNG and JPEG files...my stupidity for not making back-ups and composition was a little hard as he didnt want his picture to be taken and kept running around

Well I am now part of the club, will get out with the K10 soon, already own a K50 and love it but from some pics on here the K10's ccd reminds me of my old Oly E1's ccd. Picked it up with battery grip and 2 batteries for just over 100 bucks and 15k clicks.

That sounds like a good deal. Mine is the same - with battery grip and two batteries. Look forward to seeing some of your images soon.
