Nice work. Can't complain about the quality there.

Nice shots here lately - here's one from a bright Fall morning. The small yellow blossoms are "sneezeweed" growing close to the lakeshore. K10D & 18-55 kit lens:

I had some time to hang out in El Paso recently, so I got up early one morning and went up on Franklin mountain for the sunrise.

Looking South and a little West, towards Mexico.

I think they used up more than their allotment of blue there!

I like that the Lady Gaga sculpture has to be labeled!

Nice shot. The look on the guy's eyes makes it all come together.

Not to hijack, but in my ad in the marketplace, one of the free items I offer is an original instruction sheet about interchangeable focusing screens for the K10D.

In case anyone on this thread is interested....

I bought my K10D in 2007 and love it but would like to upgrade to a DSLR with video capability. Looked at Canon and Nikon's, since that seems to be all the local retail stores sell where I live but the quality of the Pentax is hard to beat plus I have three awesome Pentax lenses and don't want to start over with another brand. Anyone know of which newer Pentax body is comparible to the K10D? Don't want anything more complicated as I'm just a Mom taking pics of family, landscapes, etc.

The K5IIs is the best deal going right now, as the K3 was just released and will be replacing it. The K5 has video, and the CMOS image sensor was a giant step toward more dynamic range and better high ISO performance.

Each successive model will have small changes in features and control layout, so there will be some adjustment required.

But it is worth the step up.
