I dropped by the Coppell (TX) Car show last weekend. It wasn't as big as a few years ago, but still a good one. More images coming soon. DA16-45 on K10D:

I've been on a short break from posting to get a sense of perspective back. To remind myself that the reason I came to this forum in the first place was to share photos and learn things with like-minded souls like my fellow K10D Club and Takumar Club members. Not to get dragged into pointlessly argumentative threads about stuff that really doesn't matter with people I'll never actually meet. So hopefully from now on I'll have enough sense to enjoy the parts of the forum that I enjoy, and stay the heck away from the sort of threads that irritate me.

Here's a photo with the 18-55mm WR:

That's a really wonderful composition. I like it very much. I also agree with your sentiments.

I, for one, am glad to see you back, Dave. I did not see the arguments that you speak of and it is great to see you back here with the kind and gentle folk of the K10D Club. I first saw that image of the ponies on Flickr and I am still in awe of it.
Your ability to capture such images is enviable. Keep them coming, good friend.
