Nice work, Ray!

Rummaging thru the archives and found this one from late Nov. 2015. Zenitar 16 on K10D. The Zen can be quite non-fishy if you center the horizon.

It's a mighty lens and you're getting great results with it. I keep going back and forth between the Zenitar 16mm and the Takumar 17mm, because they've got their own different strengths depending on the light and the subject. Sometimes I can't decide which one to throw in the bag, so I take both.

Thanks Ray. As much as I love my old 18-55, the 16-45 is a step up . OOC jpegs, btw, with minimal PP. (I almost always shoot RAW)

Great results with the 16-45, Paul. And wow, what a car! Have you got any more shots of that beauty to post?

A few times over the summer I've seen a magnificent white 1950s Oldsmobile heading across the moor being used as a wedding car, but I've never been in the right spot with the right lens to get a snap of it. But one of these days. . .

When I was buying my K01D a US friend who was living in Australia tried to convince me to get a 16-45 instead of the 18-55. Maybe I should have listened to him. From what I have seen of your images it is the better lens. But a photographer who knows what he is doing also plays a part. So, you can take some of the credit.

Thanks guys, but you give me a little too much credit. Ray, I was originally looking for another Sigma 17-70 as a kit lens upgrade. I missed the one I owned, and you continue getting great results from yours. But an unbeatable deal came along on the 16-45, so I snagged it. No regrets!

This cute little '64 Chevy pickup was parked next to that Camaro:
