The Red Arrows over Plymouth yesterday with the Zenitar 16mm (defished).

I'd really like to crop a little bit off the left of this, but then I'd be left with a pair of disembodied arms floating in the air at the bottom corner. Darn those smartphone shooters.

I agree about those smartphone shooters. They bothered me both days last weekend.
But despite them you produced a wonderful image. It tells a story, it is beautifully processed, the light is even, it is sharp all over with lots of detail and the colours are just right. You have excelled, my friend.

I like to refer to those devices as "phartsmones."

Nothing wrong with that lens! I have it and quite like it. I consider it a fantastic 70-200mm f4-4.5.

I guess I qualify for the K10D Club again. When I bought my K3-II, I sold my K10D w/ the 18-55 kit lens that I bought in 2007 or 2008 and the Pentax HD 55-300 to my neighbor with the proviso that I get 1st dibs if he ever decided to sell it. Yesterday he sent me text and I bought it all back. I’ll probably sell the HD 55-300 since I bought the newer 55-300 PLM.

With a K3-II and a K70 plus a K-01 and a couple of Q7s, I’m not exactly sure why I wanted it back. I thought I might hang my redundant 18-135 on it and use it has a walkabout kit when it’s too high risk to take out a more expensive combination but it needs a firmware update, I’ve not done one of those yet, Kind of apprehensive about doing one, too.

Yet another story of someone giving away or selling their K10D, and then later feeling compelled to replace it. There are several such stories in this thread. I suggest that anyone who doubts what I am saying read this thread from the beginning to the present.
