I like it better. Honestly, only OCD photographers that do PP would notice the fringing. I'm not so OCD that I can't enjoy the image I think it turned out very good now.
Thanks. I think it's better also, but the effort required to get rid of the halos while still reducing the fringes is a bit much. Nevertheless, it was good experience and will help with the next time I need to do it!

Is feisty false albacore another way of saying rock?

Ah, I see. Nice catch.

Many years ago, as eleven year old boy, I went salmon fishing with my dad and his buddies off the West side of Whidbey island.

I was the only one who caught anything that day. I thought I had a real big one.

What I caught was a rock about the size of a bowling ball.

They said I was running my tackle a bit too deep.

Test shots with K-10.

I gave my K-10 to a friend three years ago, and she returned it to me recently when the screw (as in screw drive) stopped working, so now it is manual focus only. I thought I would try it out, so picked up a random lens from my cabinet, which turned out to be SMC Pentax-A 50mm f 1.7. After fiddling around with the settings and returning the camera to original factory settings, I gave it a spin, and here are the first results. Next step is to install the Pentax M42 adapter and make the K-10 into a dedicated Takumar platform.
