I know, I thought about that as well! It's 100% true to reality, however, as we know a normal lens will show the scene as the eye sees it.

I like the little twisty lock - gives me a feeling of confidence in the weather resistance, and I love the sort of springy click as the door pops open. But then I'm basically a nine-year-old trapped in a middle-aged body.

Enjoy your K10D.
As the K10D was my first DSLR that way of getting to the SD card was all I ever knew...until I got my K-3. I don't have a problem with it.

First stroll with my new K10D. I decided to do all in camera JPEGs just to watch the camera do its thing. Very pleasing colors, as I think you have all come to appreciate already.

I used a mixture of vintage lenses for this. A Pentax-M 40mm 2.8 I just got, makes the package very small and is fairly good quality. A cheap 70-300 zoom I got in the lot with the camera, bad CA against the sun but otherwise pretty nice, and another new to me lens, a 28mm f2 Spiratone, very funky lens with the highlights doing bizarre things... but actually makes things look sort of like a painting, which is cool.
