White Pocket, Arizona, in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs wilderness. White Pocket is really an amazing place, as if got on another planet, but it is difficult to get because of the deep sand road.
My wife called this way "road to a heart attack"

What he said ^^^ It does have an otherworldly, prehistoric look - and fabulous colors!

It was certainly worth the effort to get there. That image almost jumped out of the screen when I saw it. Just stunning.

After a month of lockdown, I got to the point today where if I didn't get up onto the open moor I would have ended up crawling into a corner and banging my head against the wall repeatedly while giggling hysterically. So I walked all the way from my front door up to Windy Post -- half a day to get somewhere that I usually pass by on a quick afternoon stroll. And it was worth every step of it; my mental batteries are recharged again, and at least the walk home was downhill all the way.

Got a photo too, with El Cheapo:

El Cheapo did a great job, Dave! Of course the photographer might have had something to do with that!

Agree! You gotta try a little harder when shooting with such an "obsolete relic"

You & El Cheapo done good! My version of "El Cheapo" is my $7 copy of the F35-80 - the lens amazes me at times!
