And a couple more, in monochrome this time. I think it's easier to see the textures in monochrome.

Throwback

To as it was... taken relatively recently, but time seems to move just a tad more slowly here the Highlands.

Nice to know that you also have a K10D to entertain the "Ladies"... and a nice picture that is, as well.

Beautifully composed and the shutter speed was just right to bring the nicest effect to the flow of water... very nicely done, it's a joy to look at.

It was more of a PP exercise to lose the famous K10D colour look, to this rather washed out, cross processed and added grain version.

I did wonder about the processing - thanks for telling us.

Many thanks, CR. Shutter speed selection was very deliberate. I have been there before and I know what will work and what will not.

No problem, just trying to make the image look a lot older than it really was.

Very nice. To me looks a little like some of the old transparency films, Agfa or Owo maybe.

Thanks, I think the desaturation really helped with the look.

I had no questions about that - it's always nice to see an experienced photographer making the absolute best of a scene. The K10D helped with its typical accurate depiction of the luminance in the water, and with the beautiful colors. Thank you for sharing it!
