I justified getting the k10d by telling my girlfriend (who had to go and pick up the camera for me) that I'd be selling my k100d to pay for the k10d! Now you've reinforced that nagging feeling I have in the back of my head about holding onto the k100d too, "just in case". I need to sell something else pretty quickly before she realises I now have two cameras(!)
Ah well, who needs 5 guitars anyway?
(I think the shot of the mill is great btw - I don't think you need worry about the grass being too much, as it gives the mill a nice solid base to sit on. It reinforces the sturdiness of the building IMO)
Edit: Just did a quick google for 16mp ccd's and both the Fuji Finepix S4800 and the Canon Powershot SX500 both have 16mp CCDs! But, not in dslrs. Point and shoots. Must have arrived too late for dslr's to use. Still, it means that there are ccd's out there with these resolutions. Just need someone to make a specialist ccd dslr! Wonder if Pentax would throw one together for us??
Edit2:- I got my hands on the k10d last night and wasn't disappointed! As it was night time, I could test out this apparent noisy high ISO business. It isn't that bad. And I use topaz denoise anyway, so I don't really see it as being as much of a problem now as it was when the camera first came out. Ok, so it isn't as detailed as the newer stuff but it's all about moodiness for night shots anyway, so I like to not see everything as if I was a cat!! I will have to play around worth it some more and see what I can do.
it's a great camera!
