I spent Saturday visiting my mum and helping her in the garden plot - removing brambles (thank God for thick gloves!), some nasty polyurethane foam the previous tenant left behind, and digging a spot for a small greenhouse. She's happy to have a little spot of nature, especially during these times.
A bluetit in said garden, keeping its eye on me
And there was a sheep pen nearby, with a bunch of small lambs, which have survived easter so far. They kept running and frolicking around
and I was very happy to have brought an autofocus lens with me. Again, more images of the lively bunch on my Flickr.
In other news: I'm keeping my eye on a few more high-quality supertele lenses, an Osawa 400mm F/5.6 which I could get for 85€, or Pentacon 300mm/F4 / 500mm/F5.6 auctions, I've read good things about those old, fast telephoto lenses.
After having expanded my range with cheap but decent vintage glass, I've decided that my next step is to save up for something with better quality, where it makes sense.
