I went for a stroll today, my K10D wanted to get out of the bag and into the sunlight
great weather today.
Taken with the DA 18-55mm kit lens. I found it to be surprisingly flare resistant, even in direct sunlight, and I'm still impressed by how good photos taken with a 14-year old camera can look.
A bit of a brick facade, with metal bars which are used to stabilize the walls against bulging out, sometimes you can also see them on castle walls.
Taken with my Super-Multi Coated Takumar 55mm F/1.8
And I got some good/bad news: I won an eBay auction for a K-3 ii, and am extremely excited about that
also very fortunate to have gotten a low price compared to previous auctions. It'll serve my birding and manual focus tele lens uses well, and I can't wait to try Astrotracer. It was a clear upgrade path to my mind.
Maybe my K10D will become my dedicated M42 lens/Takumar body, since that combination produces absolutely lovely colours, and I don't really need more megapixels for focal lenghts below 200mm.
