From my still-not-dead K10D I've had since 2006

Pentax K10D - SMCP-A 50mm f/1.7 - ISO 100 1/640th @ f/1.7

And a cheeky Bee in flight photo, using the catch in focus technique was invaluable in getting this.

I was going through some older photos yesterday, and thought I may as well post some here. Here's a few shots from back in 2008, probably taken with my 70-210 f4. Way back when memory cards were expensive enough that I couldn't really afford to shoot raw, so it's a good thing the JPEGs from the K10D are as good as they are.
I was at work in northern BC, and this fox was hanging around our work site.

And a different fox at a different work site. This one must have been less afraid of people, as I have quite a few pictures of him.

I went with a camera club / Flickr Friend for the annual 'Red Deer RUT' in Bedford's Park, ROMFORD ( England) -- this year took my 2007 K10D + SMC Pentax-A 4000mm f5.6 bought secondhand years ago from a Camera Club member . I had a TRIPOD -- I used 200 ISO and 'RAW' which I processed in FastStone Image Viewer. I did a PRINT of 'ROAR' for Brentwood & District Photographic Club but the Judge said it was 'Burnt Out around the nose'

It's hard to tell about the deer's nose being burnt out from that angle. We'd really need a close-up of the grass around it to look for traces of white powder around the hooves, plus the mirror and razor blade he used to cut his lines, and probably a rolled-up £20 note somewhere nearby -- all the usual signs of a deer trapped in the misery of cocaine addiction.
