M 28/2.8 on K10D cropped to pano

I am seriously reconsidering making the K10D my main Pentax camera, and the K-50 to be a permanent M42 powerhouse..

Very nice pano, Ed. My K10D (s) are pretty much my primary cameras, since I'm usually shooting outdoors in decent light. Lately, though I've been working my K5 into the rotation a bit more. Blasphemy!

Thank you kindly, Paul. Well I'll follow your lead, my K10D will be promoted! The K-50 is showing signs of the aperture block again (slight after 4+ years of athome surgery), so I reckon the K-50 is best suited for the M42.

Again, if the K10D had live view, the camera would be beyond great.

Don't forget you could also use k-mount manual lenses with an aperture ring. One of my K10's is a dedicated m42 body. I'll shoot in Av mode since the K10D metering is a bit erratic using the green button. Besides - Takumars + CCD sensors are a sweet combo.
