I would start with the Giottos Rocket Blower. Be sure to point the camera downwards to help any dust find its way out of the camera (instead of getting stuck somewhere else inside!). If that doesn't work, there are a number of wet-clean solutions you can try - but be careful. Meanwhile you can try to clone out the dust spots with most photo editing software. Good luck.

I ultimately resorted to the sensor swabs.

The spots had persisted since new, so they were likely a manufacturing defect. Haven't had an issue since.

Indeed we can all agree the iso 100 images from this camera have a wonderful smoothness/character to them. What about utilizing the sensors’ noise quality to attempt the pushed b&w look? ISO 1600(!) in camera exposure comp -0.7, edited on iphone
