I use the free program Faststone to adjust my images.

I hope you don't mind, but I did this with your K10 image:

Actually I DO Like what you Did to it.

Maybe I need to look @ fastone as I am playing around in the dark with the settings on both K10D & K-r as I only came into Regular Pics after being 4 Years ONLY in Infrared where most of the effects were in Post Processing.

Never was really into regular pics even before that

I like to shoot in raw and am still at odds to which raw converter to use. Have the New Pentax one with K-r CD but have been using DxO 8 and ACR

Cheers for Years
Colin.

Thanks Colin! Here's the link to Faststone, it's a free download. I believe you can work with raw with this program.

FastStone Image Viewer, Screen Capture, Photo Resizer ...
FastStone reads the RAW file and displays the embedded JPG. By doing that it can work with any RAW file.

Thanks for the clarification! I don't shoot in RAW, so wasn't sure.

Paul, the bokeh is exceptional in this image; that's what reminded me of a beautiful painting.

Paul and Russ, there's a lovely painterly quality to both those flower shots.

I agree with Dan about the price of the 35-70 going up now the Pentax FF is looming. I'm glad I've already gathered together my beloved set of Takumars, because prices are already heading out of my reach.

Dave, you are right. I've collected 7 FF lenses (6 Pentax) over the past 4 decades, I wouldn't want to try and buy them now.
