I keep thinking I'll start looking a replacement after it's ten year birthday. When did they come out? 2006? Heck but a year away :P

I now have 2 K10D's! The date for this model was 2006-08. There was a Grand Prix limited production in 2007, also.

You could accuse me of being a reluctant upgrader, since I'm still using the same K1000 that I got in 1980. I didn't get my K10D clone GX-10 until June 2013, so to me it still feels like the latest technology. I feel like I'm only now beginning to really comprehend its capabilities.

Since the weather here continues to be soul-crushingly dismal, I'm reduced to getting my photography fix by processing raw files that I didn't bother to process last year.

Hey, is that a blue sky? Here it's been completely overcast for a very long while.

Why yes it is a bright blue Big Sky Country afternoon. The first sunny afternoon in a while.

The Big Sky Country here is a gloomy gray. This has been a very long period of no clear skies.

Joined, too! The K10 is a beautiful camera, and it's pretty good at ASA 400, too, where I do almost all of my shooting!

Hi all! Ordered my K10d today so hopefully it will arrive on monday. Seeing forward to make the acquaintance with it again. Sold my K10d in 2012 after 5 years and some 13500 images. Bought the K-5 but have always missed the old snapper.
