Very nice, Ray!
Many thanks, Paul. I still love the images the K10D produces. And mine will have its 10th birthday this year.

Loving the classic car shots. The closest we get to that around here is an occasional classic tractor.

Here's one that's just a lens test shot. Inspired by the projector lens thread, I've been playing around with taking photos using the Color-Paxon 85mm/2.8 lens from my Novomat 130AF slide projector. It's an enjoyable challenge using a lens in exactly the opposite way to what it was designed for, and I just love the slight unpredictability of the end result. Xposted in the Projector Lens Club.

I wasn't going to say anything - I just wanted to hear them bark ! Mind you, it's a nice idea, ponies chasing dogs for a change . . . .

Yep, they're ponies!

Those are the short-legged pit ponies, descendants of the poor things that used to spend their lives in tunnels underground back in the days when there was still tin mining on Dartmoor.

But they're no bigger than the big breeds of dog, and it's always funny to watch them coming eye-to-eye with something like a great dane and trying to figure out what species each other are. The dogs are never quite sure whether to eat the ponies or mate with them, and I've seen them trying to do both.

This was part of a group of 10 images that were accepted into the 2015 Blue Sky Gallery Pacific Northwest Drawers, in Portland, Oregon.

Very nostalgic.

It has been quite a while since I have used any of my prized Super Takumar lenses. So, today I decided to give the two widest lenses a run on the K10D. And they did not disappoint.

Super Takumar 28mm f3.5

Absolutely gallery quality. One of those photographs that draws you deeper and deeper into it the more you look at it. It must look incredible as a print.

That place would look great just down the road from "Bob's Good Junk," except that it's in Oklahoma, or was it southern Missouri? I forget.

A lovely series of shots, Ray. As you rightly say, your Super Takumars don't disappoint
