Absolutely gallery quality. One of those photographs that draws you deeper and deeper into it the more you look at it. It must look incredible as a print.

That place would look great just down the road from "Bob's Good Junk," except that it's in Oklahoma, or was it southern Missouri? I forget.

I love this type of shot. Excellent

Thanks guys
That place is just down the street from my house, so I have gone down there many times over the years to take photos.

This is also from Jim's Better Buys, and was also part of the same gallery set.

It has been quite a while since I have used any of my prized Super Takumar lenses. So, today I decided to give the two widest lenses a run on the K10D. And they did not disappoint.

Super Takumar 24mm f3.5

Super Takumar 28mm f3.5

Great set. The Takumar 24 is very nice, but that 28 is magical. I believe it's the same formula as the K 28 3.5 which so many around here love? And here I was so happy with what I have, with no LBA at all... now I'm wanting this lens (probably in its K guise)

Now that I have looked more closely, I have noticed the trophies in the window. I wonder what he won them for.

It was not my intention to contribute to your LBA but there will be more images to come as I work my way through my 35mm 3.5, a couple of 50mm, a couple of 55mm, 85mm 1.9, 135mm f3.5 and an SMC 200mm f4. I no longer have LBA.

The Forum is a big place! I get around quite a bit but haven't been over her in a good while. It is great to see that you guys and your K10D's are still alive and well and pumping out the same fantastic shots the K10D has always rendered. Such fine shots over here!

My dream camera is a FF K10D....what a beauty that would be! Meanwhile, who could complain of the fine shots the original still delivers here in the "modern age" of the latest Pentax cameras. I hope to enjoy many more from you guys/girls!

Regards!

Looks like I need to invest in some Taks too. After seeing Ray's extremely nice photos.

I don't own those yet but have a nice Pentax 28-105mm Power Zoom and using it this month in the SIC along with the K10D, I have two photos so far this month I thought I would share.

Day 1.

Day 2.

And btw, my light of my life granddaughter, velcrowcat1214 is a member here now with her own K10D that I gave her for her birthday.

That WOULD be something!

As long as we're dreaming, how about a full-frame 6cm X 6cm K10D!

Cross-posted from "Post Your Photos"...

The weather was beautiful today... cold, but sunny. It's nice to see a bit of sun at this time of year, so I took my parents for a drive to Northumberland, about an hour from my home. My Dad bought us a lovely fish & chip lunch, and while we walked it off I took a few photos (actually, the first photo is a light fitting in the fish restaurant )...

Taken with GX-10 & Tamron 28-75 f/2.8.

What a nice look at your world Mike. Quite the juxtaposition of the modern and the ancient.

Thanks, Racer

I'm pretty lucky in that the North East of England has more than its share of historical buildings - especially castles. I should get out to photograph them more often...

This is something I originally shot back in 2010. At the time I didn't really like it. Over the years I have had a few different goes at developing the RAW file, and this is my favorite result. It's bit surreal as far as colors go, but I like it nonetheless. At the time I processed this, I was into seeing how far I could push a single exposure DNG file (getting high dynamic range without exposure blending), and I think that shows.

That's an outstanding shot - really very beautiful indeed. The long exposure for the waterfalls is just right, too. Nice

Thanks, Paul... I don't think mine compare to Colton's, however
