Ray, nice looking shots with the old 18-55. Colors and sharpness are quite nice - and I can see where the WR came in handy!

Thank you, Paul. Yes, I nearly needed the WR in that third image. That one was a bit too close for comfort so I moved back a bit!

Okay, so this is another one I shot with my K200D, which has the same sensor as the K10D in a lighter weigh and (IMO) more user friendly package. I took a little trip to the Virginia Museum of Transportation on Saturday and while I was walking around the rail yard, shooting pictures of very large objects, it was something quite small and fragile in a sea of big, heavy metal that ended up producing the most interesting image of the lot. The light was hitting that spider web just right and the black of the steam locomotive's boiler was the perfect background.

So now I got a K-50 that will act as a backup camera to my K-S1... but I'll try to keep using the K10D until it finally dies (it's already dying, the buttons/sliders act randomly).

Here's a couple from a trip to Spain and Gibraltar with my K-10D and FA 28-80mm. First is a view of Gibraltar from the coast of Spain and the second is looking south across the Strait of Gibraltar towards Jebel Musa in Morocco.

The All American Muscle Car Show was on today (May 20) on the rooftop level of the car park at a local shopping mall. A bright sunny day with no clouds provided harsh light with deep shadows but that wasn't going to stop me.
