Gorgeous colours in that one. (And after looking at it I suddenly feel strange craving for caramel.)

They are all pretty nice, but I'm partial to the '66-'67 models.

Just doing a bit of tidying up around there?

A couple more from the Coppell TX carshow: 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona. DA16-45/4:

Ahhh those rich reds! They're almost begging for K10D attention, aren't they

It's beyond tidying up. I'll settle for preventing it falling down.

The Tak 20mm part I will believe. The rest of it I am not so sure about!

A K10D, a DA 16-45 and a red car. Now, that's a combination that is hard to top. Nice work, Paul.

Well. . . strictly speaking I should have said the courtyard where I live rather than MY courtyard. I live in the cottage at the end that you can't see behind the tractor. A nice old Dutch lady lives in the building on the left, and on the right is just a barn full of all sorts of junk (including an intact 1970s Ford Granada that could be a real beauty if restored). But saying MY courtyard sounds so much nicer.

We're talking thousands. But I rent, so it's not my bill to pay. . . until inevitably the rent goes up.

OK, I take it all back. It is YOUR courtyard (close enough!). I'm sure that your cottage has heaps of character. Just like you!
Do we get to see what it looks like sans tractor?

Maybe when the repair work to the cottage next to mine is finished. The place really isn't looking at its quaintest at the moment.

I've been on a short break from posting to get a sense of perspective back. To remind myself that the reason I came to this forum in the first place was to share photos and learn things with like-minded souls like my fellow K10D Club and Takumar Club members. Not to get dragged into pointlessly argumentative threads about stuff that really doesn't matter with people I'll never actually meet. So hopefully from now on I'll have enough sense to enjoy the parts of the forum that I enjoy, and stay the heck away from the sort of threads that irritate me.
I can relate Dave.

I too avoid the sections of the forum where people behave like a bunch of teenage drama queens. Far too much negative energy, and that is not what I come here for.

It is the work of enthusiasts like you, and all the other people who share their images that keeps me coming back. Seeing the momentary glimpses of the world through the eyes of others gives me a good feeling.

Cheers,
Racer

And for me it is the ‘64-‘65 El Camino that I lust for.
