Most of the cropping I do happens when I straighten shots I took crookedly, and that is usually the result of not being able to see the sides of the frame in the viewfinder with my glasses.
I found it difficult, if not impossible to look through the viewfinder with my glasses on. I only had to begin wearing glasses a few years ago so I had a lifetime of looking through the viewfinder with the nekkid eye. There have been two problems for me using glasses with a viewfinder.

First is the progressive lenses with closeup readers built in. Can’t find the sweet spot between the different magnifications.

Second is the smudges the rubber eyepiece on the camera leaves on the glasses.

Fortunately the diopter adjustment allows me to view, focus and compose without the glasses.

Here is one from December 2018. When I took this all I saw was a lovely flower that stood out from the background but I have since found out that it is called a swamp lily. K10D and SMC Pentax-DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL WR.

A couple of shots of Warwick Castle in England, during a medieval festival in 2013. Taken under overcast skies with a K-10D and FA 28-35mm.

May I just point out that Warwick Castle is actually in England, not Wales... I'd hate any of our Pentaxian visitors to embarrass themselves stumbling around Wales asking for directions to a castle that's at best about 55 miles away. (I know that's a quick trip to get some toothpaste in many countries, but in the UK it's a Major Expedition).

Sorry, you're correct, of course. We stopped there on the way back to England from Wales and after seeing so many castles in Wales, I had Wales on my mind!

I don't normally take photos of sheep, but this one seemed determined to pose. With the Super Takumar 55mm/2.0.

Why do they dye the fur red?

Cool photo! As for the dye, I have it on good authority that the sheep in those parts play paintball on occasion.

Now you're giving me naughty ideas. After all, they wouldn't feel the paintballs through all that wool.

It's so the different farmers can keep track of which sheep are theirs. The moor is common land, so quite a few sheep and cattle farmers graze their flocks and herds on the same ground. There's also an alpaca farm near me, but they keep them safely fenced off on private land. And I'm told that ponies can be spotted now and then too, although I wouldn't know about such things.

Here are some more from 2010. The colors from the K10D sensor are so pleasant.
