Nice one, Paul. Maybe you should post it in the "How red is your red" thread, where the CMOS folk are obsessing over how to stop clipping their reds. You could politely suggest that perhaps they're just using the wrong sensor technology.

That's a wonderful idea, sure to generate a lively discussion I'd like to nominate both of you fine gentleman to perform the honors, using my photo if you wish. I'll get the popcorn ready!

I'll leave it to Dave. He is a much better wordsmith than me...or is that "than I"?

In English (UK) the correct expression is 'than what I is' - at least in Norfolk.

Using high ISO pops up in here occasionally, this was shot at ISO 800 and then had a few tweaks in DXO Optics Pro 9 including its 'Prime' noise reduction (although the noise wasn't too terrible). Optics Pro isn't fast to process when exporting so I only use it selectively.

I used my kit lens.

In response to those beautiful american cars previously posted here is an example of the immaculate automobiles I came across recently with my K10D and 28-80 Pentax AF

Oh dear, they all look a bit sad. However, it did bring back memories of when I used to work for BMC (British Motor Corporation - before it became British Leyland). But that was in the century before this one!
I like the rope holding the doors closed on the MG. I could have used that on my MG.

This farm is situated very near my location in Ventura County, Calif. The place is known for peppers, onions and beans, among other crops. DAL 55-300 on K10D:
