I am ashamed I missed a couple of clean K10d bodies.
People seem to know they are wanted for the 10 Mp CCD sensor.
Damned forums, please be quiet about the qualities of the K10d

Rayallen, when I see picture like yours I think the K10D has still a lot to say. I love its colours.
Thank you for your kind words. I love the K10D's colours too. Despite its age it continues to impress.

I agree! I bought one and then a few weeks later bought another one! I see more and more threads and posts about this camera popping up all over the internet recently. I suppose people are realizing that most of them don't really need $1,000 cameras.

I wonder how many of us K10D fans own more than one copy? (I have two!)

Taken at the Oak Grove Ballfield Complex, Grapevine TX. Quantaray 28-90 on K10D:

Paul, I am a sucker who just started with a decent K10d.
Bought it with a focusing screen from Katz Eye.
The screen has a split that makes focusing easier.

Sofar I have not had any problems using MF lenses.
The K10d is here for the much praised CCD.
Could be the CCD gives images that make me sell the Hasselblad cameras I use.

You're not a sucker - you are one of the "enlightened ones"

Bedraggled, both me and the pony. At Foggintor this afternoon with the 18-55mm WR.

Yikes, that vignetting at f/5.6 looks worse at web size. It's barely noticeable at full resolution.

That can be easily fixed in post, Dave. Actually, I kind of like it in this type of shot - dark and moody. Always good to see ponies, too

I hope that you were not as bedraggled as the pony looks. You certainly needed a WR lens in those conditions.

Exactly my thoughts although the camera I use most is the K5II.
Use it at 6Mp only, will down size further in post production. Shots used for selling gear at ebay and other auction sites.
Nothing to wish for with Pentax A series macro lenses, of course they are all MF.

Plan to use the K10d with full 10 Mp and RAW files to make the most of it.
Anybody interested in a review against a Hasselblad digital back?
Most recent cameras are an overkill with more 20 Mp.
