I'm staying with some of my family in Mannheim for a bit over a week, bringing my camera with me for the first time, so there's plenty of opportunity to explore

They live close to the Rhine, with plenty of green around, I found it makes for a very good scenery. The clouds were particularly moody today.

And I've used the 18-55mm kit to good effect today, I certainly value it more now than when I first got my camera

the wide angle allowed me some great shots today, and I really can't complain about the IQ in any way. Maybe I'll look around for a 18-55mm WR or HD DA 18-50mm WR as my first weather resistant lens.
