Thanks, CR - I was pleasantly surprised by this lens, and to me it's a great match with the K10D.

Hello everyone. It has been a long time since I've posted here. I recently went on a kayak trip with my K-3 and K10D and thought I'd share a photo here. This is with the K10D and 18-135. The K10D's still got it - locked right onto the goose and didn't let go, despite that busy background.

Thanks Ed! I'd heard that the -7 was the tamest and most controlled-swirl version. I love the vibrant colors and sharpness (if I nail focus)

I think I've had my K10D for 15 years but I'm just now learning how to actually use it properly (and any camera, for that matter). Poor thing never got to see its potential. I feel like I am finally starting to learn how to take good photographs and can hopefully do my equipment justice more and more going forward.

This one was taken from a kayak on the lake, on the same day as the goose shot I shared earlier.

My original K-10 has a broken AF, making it the perfect M42 and Takumar shooter. Here we are with the Takumar 50mm f 1.4.
