Nope we've got it in Europe. I believe they are not selling it in Japan. (nor in China is seems http://www.ricoh-imaging.com.cn/ricoh/product_camera_list.html ) So probably not in Asia.

I'm thinking that Ricoh/Pentax has it's hands full with its current range of camera options. It's one thing if a new entry is going to attract new consumers but not a good thing to split an existing customer base into smaller and smaller pieces.

Got it. I knew it was limited distribution but I coudn't remember what the global area is.

Yes of course. Next entry level DSLR from Pentax will most likely have 24 MP sensors.
But the replacements for K50/K500 are probably something like 12 month away.
