My k100d has been in closet about one wirhout batteries inside. Today i did insert batteries and turn power on. Icon on top lcd shows batteries empty and no power on. Well batts are not empty and same eneloops i did use before with this cam. I did try other batteries and same happens again even batts are full. I wonder what have happend to my k100d. It has been without use long times before and after break it was ok. Maybe there were batteries inside before all time but now about year no batteries inside. Any ideas?

You might just need to clean the battery contacts, they can get a little oxidation on them from just sitting.

I did clean battery contacts with isopropanol. There was not dirty to see on contacts. But ceaning contacts did help, my k100d works again. Tnx, this site is great help always!
