Suggestions for that auction site?

Hey gang,

I'm planning on selling a few items on eBay and was trying to decide whether to lump them together into a package, or to sell them individually. Usually, I separate the items, but all these things are fairly low value items (a 135, a 400 mirror lens, an old Pentax flash, and an old 2x teleconverter). I was thinking they might make a better package for a new camera owner.

Opinions on whether to sell them individually or together?

Mo - if this breaks the rules about auctions then please delete and accept my apologies.

do it separate, you never know how much one will pay for one item...

start low....and be descriptive as possible...

I agree with Jon . . . generally, better to sell individually . . . you can always point out that you have other items for sale, will combine shipping, etc.

I also am going to be selling some of my lenses . . . to help pay for my Bigma which will arrive tomorrow. I was thinking that, before I post them on an auction site, I wuold post a list in the for sale section here to give some of our fellow members first shot.

Just a thought . . . good luck.

I've always had much better results parting stuff out rather than lumping it together.

Okay, separate listings it is. That's always been my method anyway, but I guess I was lazy this time.

Oh, and I didn't know we had a For Sale section here. I'll check that out.

Generally I find that splitting up the items will get the most cash. Also means a bit more hassle though I guess...

The exception is a camera body and kit lens, I find you get more to sell them together.. People don't seem to like to buy bodies without lenses and kit lenses generally get very little by themselves..
