I own three -- K5 II, K3 and K-01. In general, when I upgrade, I sell my old camera. I wouldn't shoot with it and better for me to get a little money out of it and at the same time let someone else upgrade their gear in the process.

K-01 I'll never sell. It just wouldn't be worth it and is too much fun to shoot with. Also, my wife hates it, so I never have to fight her for the camera.

Not that many, really....2 Q's, a K-01, an *istD, a K10D, an ME, an ME Super, an MX, an LX, a K2, a PZ20, and a 6X7. So what's that...3 mirrorless, 2 DSLRs, 6 film SLRs, and 1 medium format? A total of 12, I guess. I have a number of non-Pentax cameras, too. Enough that my wife now has me on a "buy one...get rid of one" basis.

I only started to experiment with "beyond P&S" photography less than a year ago. I started with a Sony NEX-5R and then got a 6 because I realized I wanted an optical viewfinder (not just a screen). Then I realized I wanted to do some more advanced photography (especially with flash, strobes, etc and also a wider selection of lenses), so I decided to get a more traditional DSLR as well. Got the K-3 from my dad as a combination Xmas/early 50th birthday present. (I also have a "carry every day" P&S Fuji for days when I don't want to lug the Pentax or a NEX around.

So - only one Pentax body so far, but several other cameras, LOTS of gear - and Mr frogoutofwater has the K-30 (my Christmas present to him last year).
