E-Paper Aperture Ring

Here is an idea that would be awesome for ergonomics that I got looking at the new Fuji X teaser pic. Pentax could put an Olympus XZ style aperture ring onto the mount and use e-paper to add the appropriate clicks for the lens you have mounted. Similarly, they could use E-paper to let you customize manual control dials and buttons so that they reflect what they actually do in the mode you are using. This would marry the customization and flexibility of a touch screen with the ergonomics of real buttons and without any drawbacks of daylight visibility associated with LCDs while bringing a unique twist to retro styling and sensibilities.

e-ink's an interesting idea - it's becoming more common. The LCD for displays like the top camera display have no issues in light, being black on a reflective background but e-ink is even lower power and could be configured by the user.
