What's in the box?!

Brad Pitt doesn't know and neither do I.

It's clear there's a couple of lenses and a bunch of filters. This is a set of equipment that came packaged nicely. I've never seen it before. Can anyone give some insight about what might be in this? The camera body appears to say Auto M system on the manual but the pic is small and the reflection makes it hard to read. I've tried to contact the seller but they have not responded.

That's an Auto 110, Pentax' film predecessor to the Q.

It's an auto 110 system and a few lenses. note: it doesn't take standard 35mm film (135) it takes 110 film, which is hard to find, usually more expensive, and yields worse quality prints. The camera is not a K mount camera either.
It was formerly the world's smallest SLR system.

Ah hah! Thank you, I see that now. Just took an extra set of eyes. Is the package worth the $100 that the seller is asking for? It looks like a cool piece for collection, even though I've never been a fan of 110 film. Sorry, I hate to sound like a newbie.

It's a collectors item now. The Auto 110 is really only worth what one is willing to pay for it.

The price is reasonable if it's in stellar condition. However, make sure it has the L shaped hand-grip (see the empty cut out space below the craigslist image) otherwise it doesn't really have all of the accessories. But, do you really want it? That is the bigger question.

Average price for the body alone is ~$25. They're really not that rare.

Looking at recent sales on evilBay, it looks like kits sell for $50-$150, depending on condition, how many pieces are missing, and how badly someone wanted one that day.

Thanks for the info, guys. I think I'll take a pass on it. Still, it's quite an interesting piece.

you could use those lenses on Pentax Q , if you have one, with an adapter,
as far as I can remember there was no aperture ring or control on those lenses.
