IMHO, go with the K3, manual focus the lens (no sharp mic stands) and use fast glass, for me that's a win, win, win.

I think people forget about this, as I have seen this topic of high ISO noise popping up with the K-3.
If you are happy with the K-5's image size, downscale the K-3's image size to match the K-5's and you will be happy
