If it ain't broke, don't fix it" I also believe that in most cases, the firmware has more fixes in it than just what they put in the press releases. You typically have to read the "readme" files contained in the download to have a complete understanding of all changes that have been made ... only then can you make an intellegent decision as to whether the update is worth the risk that always exists in such updates.
