this showed up on....

...my Kitchen table when I got home!
SMC Pentax-DA 35mm F2.8 Limited Macro Reviews - DA Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

I had a long day but when I got home my wife said "there's a package on the table for you"...
I actually waited until I had a bite to eat then mounted my new toy on the front of my K-7.
I only took a couple of shots and can't wait to take this outside but I was blown away by the sharpness!
Now I know what everyone is talking about when they mention the Limited lenses....awesome!!
Can't wait to take some real photos outside this weekend.

Awesome! I have the DA 40 XS, but would love the 35 Ltd. Let us know how you like it!

The 35 is amazing. It does go crazy with focusing sometimes. You can pre-focus manually first, and then it misses focus less often. Not a great lens for sports or other action, but otherwise perfect!

A lucky guy anyway even he bought it himself. My wife asks me every time when there is a package delivered "what is that? a lens again?"

The 35 is an amazing lens especially for the price.

Have fun with it. I've only had it for a couple months and its been great.

..took a few photos today with the DA35mm limited Macro...I'm still learning how to use this on my K-5 body but it looks like it's going to be an excellent piece of glass once I learn to use it properly.
Besides being a great "normal" lens for the camera, it also doubles as a Macro which is really neat.
