I guess the file names (and/or hex codes) have changed for the K-1 II again. Anyone know them?

Yes.
So what are they please?

For K-1 Mark II to enter Debug Mode you should create files 00078400.597 and DEVELOP.MOD.
  1. File 00078400.597 should contain [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU] and LF char.
  2. File DEVELOP.MOD must be exact 10 bytes long and its content should be entered in file hexeditor:
    EITHER hex bytes: 07 01 2C 1F 10 03 1E 16 05 2D enables Development Menu 1-6
    OR hex bytes: 07 1A 02 0A 19 18 1B 1C 05 11 enables Development Menu 1-7
Then turn off camera, plugin this SD card. Leave card door open. Hold "menu" button and turn camera on.

Post screenshots of camera entering debug mode as proof

Names are sure unique for each model, but stay same for each firmware of this model. This post was only for K-1 and you have different camera model.
Just fyi. The above data for K-1 I works beautifully for all firmware versions. New firmware revisions did not break the ability to enter debug mode.

Debug alone isn't an issue. The newer camera firmware doesn't read write data to the lens.

Did you discover and provide any unique debug mode entering data?
Or just sitting comfortable and waiting.

I believe @UncleVanya is merely saying that entering Debug mode is fine, but that the newer camera firmware doesn't read or write data to the lens - so SDM-to-screwdrive conversion isn't possible from this firmware. That's how I read his post, at least. I'm sure he'll correct me if I've got that wrong

I can confirm that while I can enter the Debug mode in my K-1 Mk II, using the Lens features has no effect, just like with my K-3. Only the K-5's the Lens functions work for me (meaning I know how to use them).

Bootcoder clearly sounds frustrated. Sure, he's doing all the work, but that alone should not cause his reactions here. Something else seems to be bothering him, and it would be nice if he would speak up about that, in case we can do something about it.

Your posts do not contain "please" or "thanks". There are only complains inside. This is bothering me as well as negating of results by others. So lets speak about it.

It seems some useful information was removed from the thread. For everyone's benefit:

To enter Debug mode on K-1 Mark II, create files 00078400.597 and DEVELOP.MOD on an SD card.
  1. File 00078400.597 should contain [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU] and LF char.
  2. File DEVELOP.MOD must be exactly 10 bytes long and its content should be entered in file hex editor:
    EITHER hex bytes: 07 01 2C 1F 10 03 1E 16 05 2D enables Development Menu 1-6
    OR hex bytes: 07 1A 02 0A 19 18 1B 1C 05 11 enables Development Menu 1-7

Turn off the camera, insert the SD card, leave card door open, hold "menu" button and turn camera on.

The above information was originally provided by @bootcoder and re-instated by me for everyone's benefit.

You were the source of the information (you removed it from your earlier post). It was useful information, and confirmed as correct by another member immediately afterwards. As such, it strikes me as worthwhile to keep here for reference. I see no value in removing it

I've edited my post to show due credit to you as the source.
