Microsoft Store - PK Tether

Just contacted Microsoft and talked with them a bit about getting PK Tether to work on my tablet ( Surface RT around $200 in most stores)

Then I contacted TKOS from PK Tether about creating an app for the store

I'd be more than willing to pay a few dollars for tethering ability on my surface

I'd also help put together a kickstarter if he needs funds to create a tethering app for androids / the microsoft store / apple

thoughts?

I certainly would love to tether to my tablet

I am not sure what PK tether is, I can get an idea from its name, but if its a worthwhile cause ill definitely throw some funds at it as I own 3 tablets.

I'd like to see an android app, but I'd definitely look it over before paying. The concept is great though!

That should be fairly straight foward for him because it is written in .net already.

I just remembered that when I decompiled pk tether there were a bunch of io things going on that might not be fully available to the rt .net version so it may not be totally straight forward.

Wouldn't PK-Tether already work on a tablet that has Windows 8.1?

I guess that leaves out the Apple/Android/Windows RT app only crowd.

I'd back it; although a smart choice these days are the Atom-based tablets running 'full' Windows.

Also, it looks like PK_Tether hasn't been updated in a looooooooong time

Has anyone been able to use a K5/K5ii/or K3 for anything close to decent tethering I have tried the PK tethering software with Not good results and it is very frustrating when I can not get satisfactory results.

There is also pktriggercord to look at:
pkTriggerCord

It runs on several platforms already (Linux, Windows, Raspberry PI). Maybe Android and Mac would be an option there too.
