Olympic Equipment

OK, I know that this is a Pentax Forum but I'm snowed in here in NC & I found this article about what's inside the bag of an Olympic photographer:
...and I thought that I spent a lot on gear.....there's $48,000 worth of camera porn in that photo...
He's going to need a caddy to carry all that stuff around!

You need a bigger leaf blower!

I find it humorous that the monopods are "3 Legged Thing" brand (besides being single legs). Not exactly the Gitzos that everyone imagines "pros" use...

I guess if you are a pro photographer you don't really get to fly without checking luggage.

Assuming the bodies are all FF he could save a ton of weight by going pentax and using the K3 and K5(assuming K5 is better at low light) and dropping the two big lenses for a DA 300 and.DA 200

The other article getting around, the photographer says he isn't taking any big lenses as Canon and Nikon both have the big lenses there that the pros can borrow.
