K10D red color-cast problem

With the firmware 1.00, there is a slight magenta cast to some pictures (most notable in the shadow area, though) that is cured with firmware update, so I would look at what firmware your camera is using! It might be something else entirely, but it is worth checking.

I just tried it out with 2 of my neighbours and its the same issue, S--T!!

Here is a capture from ACR showing a shot i took at the weekend using the gray card to gauge exposure so as to batch process in ACR. From what i can gather from the point sample readings there is a definate red cast here.

Can this be fixed in camera? If not how would i go about correcting this in ACR to complete my batch with confidence.

Your help and advice would be much appreciated

On that picture, I don't see a color cast on my monitor. Are you sure your monitor is well calibrated?
