but I personally prefer another variable: percentage of keepers :-) And with my Pentax gear (100 and 20 (and 10 which I sold after 8800 actuations (and that is image count, not shutter count as every digital preview adds one plus multi-exposure just increments by 1 despite of max 9 shutter actuations)) - and my counts are rather low (ca. 300 keepers per month) (no action shots most of the time...) And another possibility to be the WINNER- use K20 21fps mode... no way all the time. But I must happily admit a superb feature on K20- image names can be altered so no more IMGPxxxx limit and overlap :-) Not decided yet but something like APR8xxxx makes some sense in long perspective to me

I sold my k10d in March with 20,000 actuations.

Now k20d since April and I got 11,221 actuations already
